Празднование 40-летия Citroen CX

Итак, друзья, появилась, наконец, информация о праздновании юбилея любимого всеми нами некоторыми из нас автомобиля - Ситроена СХ.



Собственно, само празднование будет состоять из двух независимых мероприятий - бухач во Франции и Ралли Арктика.

European Meeting, Le Tréport FR, 6-9 June 2014

Север Франции, с 6 по 9 июня 2014 года.



Организатор - CX Club de France. Немцы, голландцы, скандинавы и прочие собираются встречаться 6 июня в Брюсселе, отобедать и организованной колонной с перерывами на кофе двинуть на место. Основной день - 7 июня. Предаемся радостям СХоводства, общаемся, пьем.
Вечером - торжественный ужин. 8 и 9 числа свободные программы.

Le Raid Arctique, Gällivare SE to Paris FR, 26 August to 1 September 2014



После того, как СХ был представлен широкой публике в 1974 году, родилась идея продемонстрировать комфорт, надежность и топливную экономичность любимого всеми нами некоторыми из нас автомобиля в Ралли "Арктика": Gällivare, Швеция (немного за полярным кругом ) - Елисейские поля, Париж, Франция.
Соответственно, было решено повторить исторический рейд спустя 40 лет, в 2014.
План - выехать из Gällivare 26 августа, ехать примерно 500 км в день, приехать в Париж 1 сентября. По прибытии обсуждается (с руководством Ситроен) возможность посещения легендарного завода в Ольне-су-Буа.

Dear all,

Thanks to an excellent initiative of the Citroën CX Club Nederland, the European CX clubs had the opportunity to meet at CitroMobile 2013, where indeed some of you were present. At that meeting I was invited by Rien Breteler, chairman of the Dutch CX club, to briefly present two events that will mark the celebration of the CX’s 40 years in 2014: the international meeting organised by the CX Club de France in June and the Raid Arctique to be held in August. The planning of both events has advanced well since we met, so I would like to share the latest information with you.

European Meeting, Le Tréport FR, 6-9 June 2014
The CX Club de France has put together a programme for celebrating 40 years of CX during the weekend of Pentecost. The venue is the nice turn-of-the-century sea resort of Le Tréport, partially built at sea level and partially high on the chalk cliffs. Those travelling there from the North have the option to meet on Friday 6 June in the region of Brussels, Belgium. We plan to organise lunch and then to drive to Le Tréport together, with a coffee break somewhere on the way. The official programme starts on Saturday 7 June with a meet & greet in the morning and further foresees a public exhibition of our cars, a boat tour at sea and a celebration dinner in the evening. On Sunday participants can explore Le Tréport and neighbouring sea resorts by tourist train and visit the remarkable Kahl Burg, a German fortification that was dug out in the chalk cliffs in 1942. On Monday the castle of Rambures can be visited. All elements of the programme are optional, leaving participants free to combine the festivities of their choice with shopping and strolling in Le Tréport or with explorations of the scenic hinterland. More detailed descriptions of the programme, including a list of camp sites, group accommodations and hotels is available in French, German and Dutch. If you feel that your members might be interested by this event, we would be happy to provide you with an English translation.

Le Raid Arctique, Gällivare SE to Paris FR, 26 August to 1 September 2014
After the CX had been presented to the European automotive press in Northern Sweden over the summer of 1974, the cars were driven from Gällivare on the Polar Circle to the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Thus, the CX could demonstrate its comfort, its reliability and its fuel efficiency just before it would be presented to the public at the Paris motor show. An article about the Raid Arctique on www.citroen-forum.nl sparked the idea to repeat this adventure in 2014. As you may conclude from the lively discussions on http://tinyurl.com/cifo-raid, the plans have been met with enthusiasm in the Dutch CX community. We’ll meet in the Swedish region of Kiruna/Gällivare on 26 August and we’ll travel southward in daily stages of about 500km, reaching Paris on Monday 1 September. This time schedule largely matches the one of 1974. Together with Citroën representatives we are still working on the arrival in Paris. If possible, we’ll visit both the Conservatoire on the Aulnay-sous-Bois site and the C42 showroom on Champs-Elysées. We plan to cater both for campers and for those who appreciate a little more comfort. As for the way up north, participants may organise this for themselves, as some may want to spend the least time possible and others may want to have a vacation in Scandinavia, probably even including a visit of the North Cape. However, most pre-registered participants have expressed an interest to travel north by driving through Norway and balancing the time to be dedicated with the natural and cultural beauties of this country. So far the programme has been described in Dutch and French, but we’d be happy to provide you with an English version. We would love to organise a “meet & greet” with the Norwegian and/or the Swedish clubs.

Года уже нет. А есть 9 месяцев. Может и получится родить, но времени реально очень в обрез... А делать - очень дохрена. Много ржавчины найдено - и с ней приходится бороться качественно. Иначе все это напрасно будет.
